How to Change your Sungrow Inverter and Battery Wifi Credientials
These instructions can be used to
Set up a new connection if you have just been installed and the installer did not have access to your wifi to set it up
You have lost connection to your wifi and the quick reset has not worked
You have changed your credentials or wifi provider.

Step 1.
Make sure the iSolarCloud app is downloaded from the App Store or Google Play
Go out to where your inverter is installed and locate the wifi dongle
Press the button 3-5 times in quick succession, a blue WLAN light should activate and begin flashing
Continue to the next step even if the light is not flashing
Step 2.
Open the iSolar Cloud App
If you are already logged in, click on MORE and select WLAN CONFIGURATION from the menu
If you have not logged in, click on WLAN CONFIGURATION from the bottom right corner
Now scan the QR code on the dongle
Press CONFIRM
Step 3.
Press NETWORK
Now navigate to the wifi settings on your phone. Ensure you are connected to your WIFI home network
Now navigate back to the iSolarCloud app. It should have your home network in the WLAN name. Enter your home wifi password and hit CONNECT
Press CONTINUE as we have already activated the WLAN. If the WLAN indicator is not flashing, press it again one more time and hit CONTINUE
Your inverter will now attempt to connect to your home network
If you are successful, you will reach step 2
Step 4.
If you have not logged in yet
You can now login to iSolarCloud using the name and password that was given to you when you created your account
Make sure you are on the Australian server by clicking on MORE in the top right hand corner of the welcome screen
If you are already logged in or have just logged in, your should now see your connection and your data should be appearing in the site overview
Troubleshooting
Question: I do not know my username and password
Answer: Your username will be your email that you signed up with. You can always put in forget password and follow the prompts and if that has not worked, please connect the support team by emailing support@virtualpowerco.com.au and they will manually reset this for you and send you the new temporary password
Question: I am getting a failed message
Answer: Follow the below instructions to try and do a direct connection
Step 1.
If you get the below failed message, press the WLAN DIRECT CONNECTION button at the bottom of the failed screen
Once again press the WLAN button on the dongle 3 times to activate the hotspot
Hit CONTINUE in the app once this is done
Step 2.
A prompt will appear asking you to join the local Sungrow inverter network. Press JOIN
Troubleshooting Errors
Sometimes this will also throw an error, if this happens go to your phones Wifi device list in your settings and select the name SG-XXX which matches your inverter. Check the dongle to ensure the serial is correct.
If the inverter Wifi does not appear in the list try a dongle reset by unplugged and plugging this back in and then press the WLAN button again 3-5 times until this appears in the list OR alternatively you can try turning your phones WIFI off and back on
Step 3.
In the iSolarCloud app and hit CONTINUE
Select your home wifi network and enter the password
It will now attempt to connect to the home network again
